Years at WONC : 2014-2015
During her short stretch at WONC, Megann made the most of her time, hosting various DJ shifts, as well as frequently covering news, sports, and traffic reporting duties. She used her experience at WONC to earn a programming internship at WDCB Public Radio.
After graduating from NCC, she began a career as a freelance news reporter and blogger for various media organizations, including Shaw Local, Chicago Tribune, Daily Herald, WSPY News, and WCSJ News. In 2021, she made the switch to working full-time in television at Naperville Community Television (NCTV17). The following year, she moved to the Daily Chronicle – Shaw Local.
Megann was recently recognized by the Illinois Press Association with first place honors for her government beat reporting.
