About the Hosts
Jesse Hudgins
Jesse enjoys writing stories, listening to and creating music, and just having a good time. He wants to make a career out of being a musician, writing stories, or as a music journalist. He’s an avid concert-goer, crowd surfing and moshing every chance he gets. Some of his favorite movies are The Princess Bride, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Goodfellas, and Sinister! He’s a huge fan of horror and comic book films, even though he isn’t proud that he tried to fight the screen while watching IT: Chapter One in the theater.
Hailie Balding
Hailie is an avid music fan for whom no genre is too out there. Although she indulges in a plethora of hobbies from movie-watching, concert-going, and crafting, music’s the one she can’t put down. She grew up surrounded by music and always had a CD playing, but all the music in the world can't satisfy her hunt for more. Whether it's K-pop, R&B, indie or something else entirely, she’s always digging for a new way to expand her music library.
Olivia McGuin
Currently a sophomore at NCC, Olivia developed a passion for discovering new music at just 12 years old. While initially focusing on rock, punk, and industrial, she has recently broadened her horizons to all genres. When not studying or listening to new music, Olivia is an avid CD collector, with her favorite pieces being the sixteen Beck albums she owns. Olivia also enjoys spending time with friends, baking, journaling, sewing, and watching baseball—specifically the Milwaukee Brewers, who she is a die-hard fan of.
