The WONC Community Care Drive is collecting donations of household cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products to benefit Mutual Ground in Aurora, providing safety, support, and advocacy for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence, and substance use. Through emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, and prevention education, Mutual Ground empowers survivors on their journey toward healing and independence. At Mutual Ground, healing begins with compassion, dignity, and hope.
Donations may be dropped off in the front foyer of WONC, 232 E. Chicago Avenue (Oliver Hall) in Naperville through April 24. While all new and unopened cleaning products and personal hygiene products are appreciated, the items that are most needed are:
- Disinfectants
- Kitchen cleaners
- Bathroom cleaners
- Floor cleaners
- Liquid hand soaps
- Liquid body soaps
- Aluminum foil
