About the Hosts

Sam Fretto

Sam has been around sports for much of his life. He originally started playing baseball at 5 years old and stopped in high school. Although Sam doesn’t play anymore, he still has a passion for baseball, football, and basketball. He fills his passion broadcasting NCC Sports.

Despite living in NYC for nearly 8 years, he’s a diehard Chicago sports fan. He’s been a White Sox, Bears, and Bulls fan since birth.

Sam Corbett

Sam has been playing baseball since he was 2 years old. Other sports came and went, but he ended up saying goodbye to all of them except for baseball to broadcast his high school football team. He’s known for a long time that sports broadcasting is his dream job, and he’s not aiming to be the next Vin Scully or Joe Buck. He wants to be the first Sam Corbett.

Sam is currently a pitcher for the NCC baseball team. Despite being raised on the north side, he proudly roots for the St. Louis Cardinals. And possibly an even bigger sin, he’s a New England Patriots fan.
