About the Hosts
Jake Salzbrunn
Jake has been part of WONC and WONC Sports for the last three and half years. Jake played almost every sport growing up and was a two-sport athlete in high school. He was a student athlete at NCC, playing baseball the last four years. Now as a retired athlete, Jake plays men’s league softball. He’s a fan of the Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks, Toronto Blue Jays, and Texas A&M.
Myron Lewis
Myron has been playing football since he was about 10 years old, and is currently on the NCC football and track teams. He was never big into other sports, but in high school, he called basketball games and enjoyed being around other sports. In the last few years, Myron discovered that he has a lot of sports opinions to share, and he wants to be the next big thing in sports talk. He was raised on the south side of Chicago where he’s proud to root for the Bears, even though they stress him out a lot, as well as the White Sox.
